Dear parents,

After almost two months into the new school year, the children are getting better and better with the program. This is our first newsletter this year about what is going on and about what we had in our first school meeting with the parents on October 7 th .

SPIDERS AND FALL

One of our topics in October was "spiders and fall". The children had different kind of activities about them. We are sure that they also talked about it at home.

PARTIES AND TRIPS

We are going to have Halloween party in October and we hope they will all enjoy it. We are also going to start our school trips. The first trip, to "Pembe Kösk", will take place on October 31 st . Reception A and B and Harmony Classrooms will join this trip.

PEOPLE'S JOBS

We are going to have a topic about people's jobs. If you would like to join us at school to explain about your job and perhaps to show something about it, you are welcome.

Please let us know by November 6 th . We will arrange the appointment for this event. Many thanks to all the volunteers for supporting this activity.

BEING ON TIME

Please remember to bring or send your children to school on time. This is very important for them in order to adapt themselves to the daily and hourly schedules.

CLOTHING

Could you please check that all your children's clothes have their names written on. It will be very helpful for us not to mix them up.

HEALTH CHECK

As you know, an in-school health check is held every Friday. So if you have any concern about your children's health, please let us know by Thursday through the communication notebook

CHANGING TEACHER

Even we do not like to idea to change any of our teachers during the year, we had to change the Turkish programs teacher for Reception A and B, afternoon sessions. Miss Incesu will take on this responsibility.

ENGLISH SONGS AND CHANTS

We are pleased to announce that we have chosen the books for Nursery and Reception A and B, which will help to improve our students' English. Every classroom also has "English Children songs and Chants" with the help of these books. We would also like to inform you that the importing company found copies of the "Songs and Chants" CD. If any parent would like to receive one of such copies, at the unit price of 10 YTL, please let us know by November 9 th .
