Dear Parents,
 
We would like to wish you a Happy New Year. We also would like to thank all of you for the support you have given us and your participation for our New Year Concert. You can see the pictures related to Christmas and the Year End Concert on our web-site, in the photo gallery and events part.

SONGS
We have been teaching our students many nursery rhymes. If you have difficulty in following the rhymes, you can always contact our teachers to have the lyrics or the full version of the songs.

THE WEATHER
Winter has come. It is getting colder and colder outside everyday. We can not take the children out to the garden as often as before, but we still try to take them out whenever possible. If you do not want your child to go out to play in the garden, please let his/her teacher know. If you want your child to play in the garden, be sure that you provide him/her with snow pants, a woolen hat, scarf and mittens/gloves. Do not forget to put name tags on them.
                                 
HEALTH

At this present time there are no confirmed cases of swine flu in our school.
Our precautions and plans are continuing for H1N1/09 virus.

This is the period when the children are more susceptible to illness. We would like to remind you again that when you are sending in medicine, please do not forget or hesitate to fill in the “Over the Counter Medication Form” and label the bottles with the proper time and dosage your child will take because it is important to apply the correct dosage at the right time.

COMMUNICATION
Please note that if any message you would like to give to your child’s teacher write it via your child’s communication book, rather than leaving a note at reception. We will be pleased if you can check your child’s bag everyday to check their communication books or any other materials sent home by the teachers.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Pupils with birthdays between the 1st of January  and the 31st of January  are included in our list this month.
